A Quote That Sticks With You – Future Publish Date

Quotes are something that I can spend hours looking at. My best friend and I actually made each other books for our birthdays full of our favorite quotes. To this day, we both add to them whenever we find a lyric, quote, message, etc. that sticks with us. It may sound silly to some, but it’s a way to express how we feel in a given moment. It’s also a great way to give yourself positive reminders when things seem rough. That’s what I use mine for! I find myself flipping through the pages when I need it most. Below, I have a few (emphasis on few because I have a lot of quotes – haha!) of my favorite quotes. I hope they encourage you, inspire you, help you…whatever it may be, I hope end result is that they stick with you.

Pets are part of our families. There is no doubt about that. Besides just being all-around adorable though, studies have shown that having a pet is indeed good for us. In an article from TIME, they argue that pets are good for our mental health. What I found interesting was that this study was not just centered around dogs and cats. This study stretched out to a variety of pets such as rabbits, crickets, horses, fish, and guinea pigs!

“Though the studies are small, the benefits are impressive enough that clinical settings are opening their doors to animal-assisted interventions–pet therapy, in other words–used alongside conventional medicine. ” – TIME

What these studies found were ultimately interesting. These wide range of household pets can help impact us in different ways. Whether it’s simply petting them, grooming them, focusing on them, or talking to them – the results were positive in regards to our overall mood and focus.


This is a video clip from one of my favorite TV shows “Impractical Jokers”. It’s a show about 4 life-long friends (Sal Vulcano, Joe Gatto, James Murray, and Brian Quinn) that compete to embarrass each other, and at the end of each episode at least one of them is “punished” for losing the most challenges. I thought I’d share one of my favorite moments from the show! Hopefully, it’ll make you laugh and maybe you’ll want to check out the show itself.

Laughter is the Best Medicine -Unique Excerpt

Below, I have two lists. One list displays a handful of my favorite comedians (and actors) and the other displays a list of a handful of my favorite TV shows that have made me endlessly laugh. I highly recommend any of the shows that are listed if you need a good laugh (or a new show to binge if it’s on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, YouTube, or any other streaming service). Find Your ‘Go-To’ Playlist

Music is such a powerful tool in expressing how we feel. There is something about the music community as a whole that brings us together. Aside from bringing us together, music has been known heal individuals over time and can inspire us to push ourselves to limits we didn’t know were possible.

That being said, we are talking about finding our ‘happy place’ here. Music can easily do that. Whether it’s trying to find music to help you focus, dance, laugh, workout, chill, or sleep…there is a song for everyone and everything. That’s the power of music, after all.
